Autumn Concert with Solistkoret Ung

A new generation of singers begins their journey in The Norwegian Soloists’ Choir Academy, an ensemble made up of some of Norway’s most promising young voices.

In September, they present their very first concert together following auditions held in June.

Nina T. Karlsen is a key member of the artistic team for both The Norwegian Soloists’ Choir and The Norwegian Soloists’ Choir Academy, and this marks her first concert with the ensemble in this role. She is also the artistic director of Det Norske Damekor and has led the chamber choir Ensemble 96 since 2011.

Young voices meet timeless themes in a program featuring music by, among others, Karin Rehnqvist, Bo Holten, and Knut Nystedt.

Gamle Aker Church, the oldest standing building in Oslo, provides a unique and atmospheric setting for the concert with its simple yet striking architecture.
