Oslo Chamber Music Festival: A Midsummer Night's Dream

The Norwegian Soloists’ Choir has been invited to Oslo Chamber Music Festival 2023!

The female voices will be part of the festival opening in Universitetets aula on August 4th. The opening features an unique performance of Felix Mendelssohn’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

What could be more enchanting than a wonderful adventure with fairies and elves in the forest? A musical journey that combines love, magic and humor with outstanding singers, string and wing players.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream is based on Shakespeare’s comedy of the same name, and features some of the most beautiful and playful music written. In this version, Shakespeare’s English play text will be performed in Norwegian.
