Spring concert

Along with up-and-coming conductor Julia Selina Blank, The Norwegian Soloists' Choir will be visiting Fredrikstad Cathedral to perform shimmering songs in the spirit of spring: Songs of new beginnings and anticipation of what is to come, and of praise, motivation and reflection.

Johann Sebastian Bach: Der Geist hilft unsrer Schwachheit auf

Johann Sebastian Bach's lively motet Der Geist hilft unsrer Schwachheit auf, meets Brahm's heartfelt Schaffe in mir Gott ein rein Herz. These major German works are contrasted by Swedish composer Ingvar Lidholm's work of praise, Laudi, and Norwegian Anna Berg's Zerriss.

We also get to hear some well-known, and lesser-known, works by Edvard Grieg and Agathe Backer-Grøndahl. There will also be the occasional musical surprise. Welcome to our spring concert!
