The Norwegian Soloists' Choir and Finnish Baroque Orchestra

Baroque music that shimmers and shines

Joy and celebration

The Norwegian Soloists’ Choir reunites with the Finnish Baroque Orchestra and acclaimed conductor Justin Doyle.

Two of the Baroque era’s most dazzling works are on the program:

Georg Friedrich Händel’s Dixit Dominus — a piece bursting with vitality and drama, energy and contrasts. Here we meet a young Händel on his way to fame, already displaying his gift for combining power, sensitivity, and brilliance.

Together with Marc-Antoine Charpentier’s jubilant Te Deum — known for its iconic and triumphant opening — this will be a concert overflowing with energy and pure musical joy.

In between, the audience will experience Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto for Strings in C Major — a musical interlude of elegance and intensity.

Justin Doyle, Chief Conductor of RIAS Kammerchor Berlin, is renowned for his engaging and precise leadership that brings out both nuance and power in choir and orchestra. Doyle is regarded as one of the foremost conductors within early and Baroque music.
