All Saints’ Concert

Music about grief and longing, light and reconciliation.

This year’s All Saints’ concerts present a program that moves freely across centuries and styles, where different musical languages illuminate the same existential landscape. Through music by Pizzetti, Brahms, and Mahler, the audience encounters some of the most moving voices of the classical repertoire, side by side with more recent works.

At the centre of the concert is Ildebrando Pizzetti’s Requiem, offering a rare opportunity to experience a lesser-known gem of the Requiem tradition. The work speaks directly to the themes of All Saints’ Day, honouring the dead while searching for consolation and hope. Pizzetti’s musical language is solemn and intimate, with a timeless, almost meditative quality that invites stillness and reflection.

For the first time, The Norwegian Soloists’ Choir collaborates with conductor Krista Audere, one of Europe’s most exciting young choral conductors. Winner of the 2021 Eric Ericson Award, she has gained international recognition for her precise, energetic, and poetically driven musical leadership.
