Stavanger kammermusikkfestival

The Norwegian Soloists' Choir is invited to perform and participate in three concerts at this year's festival.

The programs will be ranging from J. S. Bach to Lachenmann, Kurtag, Gubaidulina and Martin. The first concert will be in the medieval monastery of Utstein abbey. Secondly, there will be a matiné in Stavanger domkirke before the choir participates in the festival´s final concert.

Matiné on August 10th at 13:00 in Stavanger domkirke

György Kurtág: Omaggio a Luigi Nono

Avslutningskonsert: 11. august kl. 19.00 i Stavanger domkirke

Sofia Gubaidulina: Sonnengesang for choir and cello

The Norwegian Soloists' Choir

The Norwegian Soloists' Choir is an innovative young ensemble, steeped in a rich history. As one of Europe's leading chamber choirs, they perform spectacular concerts in Norway and abroad, in concert halls and churches, in caravans and in abandoned factory venues.
