Luciano Berio's monumental masterpiece ‘Coro’ has held a special importance for The Norwegian Soloists' Choir for many years.
The choir did their first performance of the piece in 1991 at Bergen International Festival. The piece was then performed in 2014 with The Norwegian Radio Orchestra and conductor Grete Pedersen as the opening concert of the Ultima Oslo Contemporary Music Festival.
Four years later, the same musicians performed 'Coro' at a concert in Store Studio in Oslo. The concert was recorded and released on BIS Records in March 2020.
