Lindemanprisen is one of Norway's most prestigious awards. Grete Pedersen will receive the prize at an award ceremony at Norges musikkhøgskole in late October 2019.

In 2020, Grete has been the Artistic Director of the Norwegian Soloists' Choir for 30 years. The choir will also celebrate its 70th years anniversary, and has become one of the leading chamber choirs in Europe under the leadership of Grete. Her work has also strengthened the status and the and significance of ensemble singing in Norway and she has inspired countless composers to write new music for choir.
