Welcome to the mini festival A Sea of Voice!
June offers a unique opportunity to experience four of the foremost choirs of the Nordics in Oslo!
From June 3 – 5 the city will be filled with choir music of the highest order, featuring Helsinki Chamber Choir, Ars Nova Copenhagen, The Norwegian Soloists' Choir og Eric Ericson Chamber Choir.
These four professional choirs previously toured together in 2016 and 2019, including to the Orkney Islands and the Netherlands. This time we will travel between the capital cities of our four countries, to celebrate unity and share with our audiences this unique cultural experience.
The choirs will give their own concerts as well as a large concert together featuring a newly commissioned piece in five movements by the celebrated Estonian/Ukranian composer Galina Grigorjeva.
The choirs will each perform one movement and then join together in a powerful closing movement with all eighty singers from the four choirs.
